MVIWAMORO five-year strategic plan 2022-2026 clearly stated fight against climatic changes in among the key intervention to ensure sustainable human operation included farming. Therefore, through Youth Green Campaign “Make our Home Green for Life”, MVIWAMORO supported young mothers with 5,000 trees which were planted in Rudewa Gongoni and Kiloka ward found in Kilosa and Morogoro district respectively. The campaign was opened by Mr. Peter Sidler, the Head of Domain from Switzerland Embassy in Tanzania at Rudewa GONGONI village on 5th December 2023. The campaign aimed to encourage communities especially youth involvement in environmental protections activities to ensure nature is well conserved for generational benefits.

 

“We congratulate MVIWAMORO for this strategic intervention of protecting environment and reduce the effect of global climatic changes” said Peter Sidler during the opening of the youth green campaign. The activities do not only involved young mothers from the project, primary school’s students, villagers and ward government included ward councillor.
