The PSA project Tanzania phased out on 30th June 2023, after being implemented for seven (7) years in two phases (2016 to 2019 and 2019 to 2023). The project has been implemented by ActionAid through its partners MVIWAMORO and MIICO in Kilosa and Mbozi respectively.In recognition of the great achievements of the PSA Project in Tanzania, ActionAid Tanzania has organized PSA Project closure event in Kilosa District, being one of the project areas. Project beneficiaries and stakeholders in Kilosa, Mbozi and Mvomero had an opportunity to share their various achievements and learning they have gathered throughout the project.The event also provided the platform for small holder women farmers and youths from both Districts to showcase the impacts of the project through exhibitions and gallery walks.

 

PSA Project closure events that took place on 28 June 2023 in Kilosa District, organized by MVIWAMORO through Action Aid Tanzania (AATZ). The event brought together 83 participants (M29/F54) presenting AATZ staffs, AA-GS, Kilosa and Mbozi Local District Government Officials, ESAFF, MIICO, MVIWAMORO, Small holder Women farmers from Mbozi and Kilosa, and youths and adolescent from both Districts.The event captured all key issues, moments that happened including project exhibition and gallery walk (posters with pictures and messages) from small holder women farmers on agroecological farming techniques, and youths and adolescents on how the project have been helping them to be able to demand on the provision of quality SRH services. It also included keynote messages addressed from various invited guests and project beneficiaries, testimonies from youths and women, and sustainability plans shared from the PSA Project Tanzania implementers.
